Tilly Kearns is an athlete on the water polo team at the University of Southern California from Sydney, Australia. The redshirt junior took the 2024 season off to train with Australia in preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games.
However, in her past years at USC, Tilly Kearns has been a force to be reckoned with. In the 2023 season, Kearns was a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist, a first-team All-American, All-MPSF First Team, and was the second-highest goal scorer for USC with 69 goals. In the 2022 season, Kearns earned the same awards and was the highest goal scorer for USC with 64 goals. During her 2019 season, Kearns scored 29 goals as a freshman. All three years, Tilly Kearns has been an NCAA runner-up with USC.
Kearns also competed at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. She helped the Aussie Stingers to a fifth-place finish.
Kearns is not sitting out another season to train for this summer's Olympics, and she has created quite the following for herself. With almost 400k TikTok followers, over 38k Instagram followers, and 1.3k YouTube followers, Kearns has certainly taken advantage of the social media world. Also, make sure to support the Trojans in their search for revenge for losing in the NCAA championship two years running. They are currently 12-3 on the season and are playing St. Francis (PA) on Saturday, March 9th in their next contest.
