22-year-old Country girl, Tara Davis, didn't have a promised Olympic ticket, especially coming off an injury and a competition block from her former University. Davis' jumping career continued at the University of Texas in her home state. Putting up record-breaking results, she was blocked from competing by her former coach because of her decision to transfer, a horror story for any transfer student, which forced her to sit out for a year of competition. Just as she was jumping back into action, she broke her foot 3 months before the global pandemic shook the athletic world.

You might think these events would deter her from coming back, but Tara proved everyone wrong with her comeback season. She came back in style, breaking the indoor collegiate long jump record and securing a spot on the Olympic team, scheduled to compete in 2021, placing 6th in Tokyo, a dream that she never thought was possible a year before. Tara Davis, now graduated from the University of Texas, is now living her dream as a professional athlete for Champion athletic apparel and an official Olympian.
