When going through the recruiting process, you may want to attend ID . They can help you develop your skills and get noticed by college coaches (hence the name “ID” camps).

But, one thing to know before you decide which camps to attend, is that there are two different types of : multi-school camps and school-specific camps.

Multi-School Camps

Multi-school camps are massive ID camps, with usually 100-400 soccer players, and they host coaches from all over the country. 

Pro: You will get exposure to A LOT of coaches at once.
Con: You have to be one of the best players in the group to get noticed. You could be a great player, but if you're not one of the best, your chances of getting noticed are slim.

School-Specific Camps

School-specific camps are much smaller than multi-school camps. They are hosted by most schools, and usually only coaches from that school attend. With less coaches, there are usually much fewer players in attendance as well. School-specific camps are great if you have an idea of some top-priority schools you want to go to because you can get to know the coach beforehand and go to the camp to see if it's a good fit.

Pro: You will have less other campers to compete against, so you're more likely to get noticed.
Con: You will pay the price of a multi-school camp, but likely only get exposure to one school.

Remember, ID camps can be a very expensive investment once you add up the registration fee, travel , and everything else along the way, so knowing which ID camps to prioritize will save you time and
