Faw started all 16 games last for the Crusaders and led the in blocks. He graduated with a degree in Chemistry and plans to pursue a master's degree in Applied Sciences while at NJIT.

Matt Faw embodies the term student-athlete. As someone who takes his academics just as seriously as his athletics, he can relate to many of the daily struggles of athletes. Having played through a coaching change at Holy Cross, he was forced to adjust and adapt to a whole new coaching staff. Not long after, he transferred to NJIT, which allowed him to experience the recruiting process all over again. The experiences and adjustments Faw had to make during his collegiate career make him an exceptional athlete and role model.
