Athlete of the Week: Sydney Cummings Athlete of the Week: Sydney Cummings

is a graduate student at Georgetown University, where she is studying sports industry management. She plays center back on the women's soccer team. Before transferring to , Cummings had a very successful career at Brown University. During her junior year at , Cummings was named First Team All-, Second Team All-America, First Team All-East Region, First Team Scholar All-America, and First Team Scholar All-East Region. Cummings graduated from Brown University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in English. In 2019, Cummings also competed with the Guyana National Team in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. 

Sydney Cummings is the perfect example of a well rounded student-athlete whose hard work on and off the field has landed her a starting position in a top-25 program. Cummings' leadership skills and passion for success have allowed her to excel in the classroom and on the field.
