Jack Ridley is an international student from Scotland who is an NAIA soccer player for Missouri Baptist University. Jack is an accounting major in his junior year, having spent the first two years of his collegiate career at East Central College of the NJCAA. Here is what a typical day looks like for Jack:
5 AM: Wake up!
It's an early start to the day for Jack, who makes himself a light breakfast before traveling to campus.
6 AM: Team Weights
The workout fittingly starts with good mornings (the exercise, not the greeting) and continues in the same vein with a primarily strength-based workout.
7 AM: Team Practice
As one practice ends, another one starts! Practice usually consists of various technical and tactical drills before concluding with an 11 v 11 scrimmage.
9:30 AM: Class #1
Jack starts his academic day with his New Testament class.
Noon – Lunchtime
After an active morning, it is time to refuel by eating lunch with teammates in the cafeteria.
1 PM: Class #2
Jack concludes his academic day with Intro to Information & Technology
2 PM: Work
Jack is a member of the grounds staff and spends a few hours each day helping to ensure everything on campus is neat and tidy.
5 PM: Dinner
After a long day on campus, Jack finally arrives home twelve hours after first leaving. Jack will typically start making dinner upon getting home.
6 PM: Homework
Jack uses his time in the evenings to catch up on any homework.
8 PM: Free Time
An entire fifteen hours after first starting his day, Jack finally gets to relax. He usually unwinds by playing video games, catching up with friends, and doing some light stretches.
9 PM: Lights Out!
An early night is crucial to allow Jack to wake up tomorrow and do it all over again.
