Trying to make it to the big leagues
Rick Dempsy: “I know you signed a professional contract for a while and how did that go?”
Matt Morris: “You get into that mid-twenty age and you're killing yourself trying to make 800 bucks a month.”
The Baseball Warehouse curriculum
Kelly Kleinman: “What kind of curriculum do you have there?”
Matt Morris: “I think these players need to learn the importance of understanding the fundamentals, understanding the mechanics, and then developing routines”
Starting a business in baseball
Rick Dempsy: “Tell me a little bit about the mistakes that happened to you early on that you've been able to overcome over the last couple of years.”
Matt Morris: “I think I trusted too many people early on.”
How The Baseball Warehouse does recruiting
Kelly Kleinman: “I do want to know a little bit more about the recruiting components.”
Matt Morris: “[The players] tell us what schools they want to come and then we target those schools.”
Coaching parents as well as the athletes
Rick Dempsey: “You brought us in to teach the parents what to look for in their own child.”
Matt Morris: “A lot of parents are only interested in baseball because their kid is interested in baseball.”
