It is very important to work hard to achieve a goal. However, there will never be without failure. It's okay to “strike out” every time you try to be successful; there is going to be a home run eventually. If an athlete wants to be successful, they must persevere through hardship. This quote from Babe Ruth, arguably the best baseball player of all time. Whether it is applied to athletics, academics, or any other goal, this quote teaches everyone to persevere and to look fear right in the face.

Rate your Coaches, Facilities, and Campus Visits

It is impossible to enjoy success without stepping outside of your comfort zone and taking risks. Fortune favors the bold. Encountering failure makes athletes more resilient, improve skills, and ultimately achieve success. Don't let the opportunity of failure stop you from achieving your goals, if Babe Ruth was scared of striking out, then he would never swing his bat. Babe Ruth wasn't scared of striking out; instead, Babe Ruth is considered one of baseball's legends.
