Whitley Pate is an NCAA DI tennis player at Wake Forest University. She is a sophomore communications major. Today, Wake Forest's tennis player Whitely gave us a peek into her typical day in her life!
9:30 am: Wake Up
Whitley woke up and checked her phone for any new emails or texts.
10 am: Breakfast
Whitley got ready and left to drive to the Bagel Station for breakfast. She got a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. That is one of her go-to places for a quick meal.
11:30 am: Class #1
She left the Bagel Station to drive back to campus to park and walk to her first class Greek Tragedy, which finished at 12:50 pm.
1 pm: Class #2
Whitley had her second class of the day: Politics and American Government.
2 pm: Individual Practice
Ran to her car because she had an individual hitting lesson for an hour.
3 pm – 5:15 pm: Team Practice
After her individual, Whitley had team practice for two hours.
5:20 – 6:30 pm: Fitness
After the team hit, she had on-court fitness for a little over an hour.
6:40 pm: Dinner
After a long day of classes and workouts as a DI tennis athlete, Whitley headed to Chick-fil-A for dinner. She got 8-count chicken nuggets with a chocolate milkshake.
7 pm -10 pm: Wind Down
Whitley showered and finished her night with some homework and a movie.
