Coming into Baylor as their 4th ever 5-Star signee, all Bear fans' eyes were on Kendall Brown during the beginning of the 2021-2022 season and Kendall did not disappoint! Averaging over 20 minutes of game play and scoring an average of 10 points per game, Kendall was a vital part of the Baylor men's basketball team. During his first season he won the title of Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year, for the first time in Baylor history and was also named Freshman of the Week.

During an interview before his start at Baylor, Kendall was asked what short-term goals he had as a player. His answer was that he wanted “to make an immediate impact and help Baylor right away.” There's no doubt that this goal was accomplished and that Baylor should be proud of their star who was selected 48th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft.
