Victoria, or Vicky, Flores, a tennis player from Iowa, stands tall in her tennis team at Georgia Tech. As a junior tennis player, Flores was ranked 45th in the world and competed in two junior Grand Slams. As a college freshman, Vicky was paramount in Georgia Tech's NCAA tournament run to the semifinals. Most recently, during her junior season, she consistently played at line two singles, and line one doubles. Although the tennis season was cut short, Flores earned an All-American title. Vicky Flores gives us a peek into her recruiting process and provides insight into the world of college tennis.

In this interview, Vicky tells of the most valuable life skills she learned through college athletics, including empathy and how to focus on finding a family in the team you play for. She discusses 3 attributes that make a good college athlete, including work ethic, coachability, and positivity.
