Katelyn Tuohy has become a powerhouse in the world of cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field. Tuohy is a highly decorated distance runner at North Carolina State. Her success, however, did not start in college–in high school, she was a three-time Nike Cross Nationals cross country champion, three-time cross country Gatorade Athlete of the Year, and set four national high school track records, to name a few.

So far at NC State, Tuohy has continued her success. In 2022, she became a National Champion in the 5000 meter run and won the 1500 meter run at the ACC championships. She has set school records in the 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, and distance medley relay and Tuohy recently also set an NCAA record in the indoor 3000m and the mile.
Katelyn Tuohy only seems to be getting faster–and it's a good time to be running in good form too, as the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships are right around the corner. Watch out for Tuohy in her upcoming seasons, she is only a junior, which means that no distance record seems to be safe!
