Kadary Richmond is a senior on the men's basketball team at Seton Hall University. Richmond leads his team this season in points scored (515), assists (169), steals (71), free throws made (123), and free throws attempted (152). Seton Hall has worked their way up to the Final Four of the National Invitation Tournament, also known as the NIT.
The NIT is a men's basketball tournament hosted by the NCAA. Regular season champions who are not selected to play in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament automatically receive a tournament bid. Other teams are selected by a committee. Seton Hall received a number-one seed in the tournament and has since won three games to make it to the Final Four.
Kadary Richmond was named first-team All-Big East while averaging 15.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. Richmond originally played for Syracuse University for one year before transferring to Seton Hall. He has since been a crucial player for the Pirates in his last three seasons.
