Eleanor Dale is a Division I soccer player for the University of Nebraska. The junior forward from across the pond in England is the nation's leading scorer with a whopping 25 goals for the season so far.
Eleanor Dale has really been on a role this season, leading the Huskers to claim the 2023 Big Ten Regular Season title with a 7-1-2 record in their conference. Dale has also earned first-team All-Big Ten and Big Ten Forward of the Year. Her performance this season has improved by waves compared to her two previous seasons where she scored nine goals combined. Her hard work in the off-season has obviously paid off.
The Huskers lost last night in the Big Ten semifinals to the University of Wisconsin, however, they could still win an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. Hopefully, Nebraska and Eleanor Dale's dreams of making it far in the national tournament aren't over yet. The bracket will be announced on Monday, November 6th, so look out to see whether the Huskers will qualify. This could be Dale's last run in the NCAA, so she is surely hoping to make it as far as she can.
