Pro Lacrosse Player, Reece Eddy, on Staying Motivated and Transferring to BU Pro Lacrosse Player, Reece Eddy, on Staying Motivated and Transferring to BU

is a former LSM player and team captain in 2020. He was honored as an Inside All-American and earned Defensive Player of the week in March 2019. He appeared in every game junior and senior year following his transfer from Canisius, where he also played in every game. At Canisius, he was a 2018 Second Team All- selection after setting a program record with 28 caused turnovers, which ranked him 15th in the nation in caused turnovers per game (1.65). Reece also led the squad in ground balls in 2018 (83) and 2017 (50). In Eddy's senior year, he tied for second in the country in caused turnovers per game (2.67) and tied for third in the NCAA with 16 caused turnovers (over 7 games). Moving onto ground balls again, he Averaged 5.17 ground balls per game, which ranked second among NCAA defenders. Following his career at , Eddy was drafted into the and the PLL but decided to embark on his professional journey with the of the PLL, who drafted him 9th overall. Eddy stands at 5'11” 175lbs.
