“I know what I can do, so I never doubt myself.”
– Usain Bolt
Usain Bolt is known as the fastest sprinter on Earth. Bolt collected nine Olympic gold medals at three different Olympic Games competing for his home country of Jamaica. He won gold in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 4×100-meter relay at all three Olympics. He also won eleven World Track and Field Championships titles.
Usain Bolt also holds three world records in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 4×100-meter relay. In the 100-meter race, Bolt holds the record for the three fastest times ever run (9.58, 9.64, and 9.69 seconds).
Like all sports, track is an extremely mental game. Individual sports require that you have real belief in yourself, and you can't ever doubt yourself, not even for a second. In any sport, one second of doubt can cost you the win. You can lift as many weights and run as many miles as you want, but if you do not have belief in your abilities, you won't find success.
