Sabrina Ionescu is a current basketball player in the for the New York Liberty. She was the first overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft and is already a 2x WNBA All-Star and a 2x All-WNBA second-team honoree. Ionescu also had one of the best careers in NCAA history. At the University of Oregon, Ionescu was the NCAA all-time leader in career triple-doubles with 26 and the first-ever play to reach 2,000 career points, 1,000 career rebounds, and 1,000 career assists. She was also the 3x Pac-12 Player of the Year, National Freshman of the Year, Associated Press/USBWA/ESPN National Player of the Year, AAU James E. Sullivan Award Co-Winner, Naismith Trophy winner, Wooden Award winner, and a 3x first-team All-American. 

If Sabrina Ionescu's career doesn't impress you, I'm not sure what will. She said the quote above to highlight the importance of mentality. No matter what you are going through, if you have the right mindset, you can make it through anything. Injuries can be an athlete's worst nightmare. However, staying positive throughout the journey will help the go by quicker than you could imagine.
