Showcase tournaments are some of the best places to be seen in the process. Coaches at all levels come out to to evaluate multiple recruits in a single weekend. High level showcase tournaments attract tons of college coaches and can be key in getting recruited to play . Here we are counting down the top 5 college soccer showcase tournaments to attend:

  1. Disney's : December 27-31, 2022

Located at the Walt Disney World Resort, this high-level showcase tournament sees players compete at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This event features teams from ages U15-U19 and includes a wide variety of brackets to allow plenty of teams to enjoy the immaculate playing surfaces. Some of the highest level club teams in the country travel to this tournament to compete and be seen by college coaches.

  1. San Diego Surf Cup: July 22-25, 2022

With the boy's age groups located at the SoCal Sports Complex, Oceanside and the girl's age groups located at Surf Sports Park, Del Mar, this elite tournament based in San Diego ranks as one of the best showcases in the country. This tournament consistently brings out top college coaches and attracts the highest level club teams from around the country.

  1. Dallas Cup: April 1-9, 2023

In spite of the name, Dallas Cup is actually held at various soccer complexes around Texas and even sees semi-final and final games played at the Cotton Bowl Stadium and Toyota Stadium. On top of this, Dallas Cup attracts not only teams from across the country but across the world, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. This prestigious cup is a hot bed for soccer and college coaches come in droves to watch the oldest divisions play.

Cost per Team: $1,800

  1. Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament: November 25-27, 2022

The Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament located in San Diego, California features top club teams from the west coast. This showcase also brings in plenty of college coaches and helps kids get recruited and move on to the next level. Many alumni of this tournament have gone  on to play at prestigious colleges like UCLA, San Diego State, and Yale, while some even make it to the professional leagues.

  1. : May 27-30, 2023

The Adidas Potomac Memorial Tournament is played at various locations across Maryland. This showcase draws teams from along the east coast to come and play in a high level environment. While the tournament ranges from ages U9-U19, the main draw is the sheer number of college coaches they bring in. Over 200 college coaches attend the tournament each year, making it a destination for many kids to be seen during the recruiting process. 

Cost per Team: $1,450

Attending showcases are  crucial, especially in the soccer recruiting process, as you look to make it to the college level. This list provides plenty of quality showcases from both coasts and gives you plenty of options no matter where you're from. But don't stop here–It's important to remember that there are more showcases out there so do your research and find the ones that are best suited to fit your needs.
