Arianna Minassian is on the team at Tufts University. She just graduated from Tufts this year, but we were lucky enough to get some insight as to what Arianna's days looked like during her senior year. Fencing is not the most popular college sport, so take a look at what a of a college fencer looks like!

7 AM: Wake Up + Practice

Arianna wakes up early for her fencing practice with the rest of her team. When she's in during the winter, practice usually consists of a warm-up, 30 min of footwork, and an hour of free fencing or drills.

8:45 AM: Breakfast

Practice usually ends around this time as most of the team has a class starting at 9:00 AM. Arianna usually meal preps her the night before and will eat her breakfast before 9 AM class. She usually meal preps yogurt and granola or overnight oats as something quick to eat on the go.

9:00 AM: Class

Arianna's first class of the day is microbiology which is an upper-level biology course for her major. In this class, she learns about the many different types of microbes that exist in nature and our human gut.

10:30 AM: Class

Arianna's next class is community health, which is a part of her humanities requirement for both her bachelor's degree and her major.

12:00 PM: Lunch

Arianna usually makes lunch at her off-campus house so after her first two classes in the morning, she heads back to eat and see some of her roommates who are also eating lunch at home. Usually, Arianna eats something simple but nutritious, such as a salad or a sandwich with lots of veggies and protein.

1:30 PM: Break

Arianna doesn't have another class until later in the afternoon so she usually spends time on campus studying for a little bit before her next class. This is where she can catch up on some assignments and emails.

3:00 PM: Class

Arianna's last class of the day is endocrinology where she learns about hormones and the human endocrine system. This is also an upper-level biology course for her major.

4:30 PM: Study

Arianna will do a little more studying on campus before heading back to her off-campus house to eat dinner and spend time with her friends.

6:00 PM: Dinner + Socialize

Arianna usually heads back to her off-campus house around this time to make dinner and socialize with her roommates and other friends for the rest of the night.

11:15 PM: Sleep!

Arianna tries to head to bed around this time so she can get a good night's sleep for her early morning practice the next day.
