Daily Grind articles are posted every Wednesday to provide a look into a day in the life of a college athlete and give an example of time management skills.
Ashley Buck is a DI women's soccer player studying health science at Boston University. As a college athlete it is important to manage your time, especially when you are playing at the DI level. Here is what Ashley's day-to-day looks like!
8:00 am Wake Up & Breakfast
Ashley has to wake up bright and early so she has time to eat and get ready before her long day as a college athlete.

9:00 am – 2:30 pm Classes
Ashley uses this time in her day to go to her classes and work on any assignments that she needs to get done for school. As a college athlete it is super important to prioritize school over athletics.
4:00 pm Practice
This is the point in Ashley's day where she gets to do the thing she loves most: soccer!
6:00 pm Lift
Ashley heads straight from practice to go and lift weights with the team.
8:00 pm Dinner
Can't forget the second most important meal of the day: dinner!

8:30-11:30 Homework
Ashley then spends the rest of her night studying and completing assignments.
11:30 pm Bed
Ashley tries to get into bed before midnight so she can get a healthy 8 hours of sleep!
