As a high school softball player hoping to get recruited, and camps may be some of the most important steps in your journey to receive an offer. In such a competitive world as sports, you need as much exposure as you can get. Whether you have interest from a few schools or are completely flying under the radar, showcases are a great way for you to grab the attention of college coaches. 

Almost every high school softball player will participate in showcases in order to earn a spot at the next level. Being a softball player in the western region, there are tons of showcases to choose from. We've found some of the best showcases and camps out there for you to showcase your skills!

1. Headfirst Honor Roll Camp  (Palmdale, CA)
First, we have a camp that takes place in southern California. It's a great opportunity to get exposure because you play live games, are in the presence of various college coaches, get advice from current or former athletes, and have the chance to get a highlight tape sent directly to college coaches! The camp is only two days, but during that time you will showcase offensive and defensive skills, play live games for coaches to watch, and test running times and throwing/batting velocity.

2. College Coaches Showcase Camp (Fullerton, CA; Glendale, AZ; Denver, CO; Auburn, WA; Newberg, OR; , CA)
Next, we have the College Coaches Showcase Camp, which takes place in various cities across the country. Their West-Coast-based camps run from Washington down to southern California, and across to Arizona and Colorado. This camp is perfect for any high school softball player who wants to develop their skills, gain feedback, learn more about the recruiting process, and get in contact with coaches from all over the country. 

CCS Camps are primarily in the Fall, so keep an eye out for the 2022 schedule enroll as early as you can!

3. Elite College Camps (Tracy, CA)
This camp includes defensive and hitting drills, as well as live game play. have the option to sign up for a pitching session instead of or in addition to the general camp. It's also attended by many big name schools/coaches, including prestigious DI and schools. It's a great chance to get in contact with college coaches and start communicating with schools you're hoping to get recruited by.

There is only one camp session, and it's in June, 2022, so be sure to register now!
