Miriam Grady is a senior science business major at Notre Dame and has been on the women's epee fencing team since her freshman year. Miriam chose Notre Dame because the school had a good mix of academics and athletics–the athletics infrastructure for fencing is, in her opinion, the best in the country and she knew she would be supported at Notre Dame.

Since her freshman year, Miriam feels she has improved massively and it definitely shows! Miriam finished third at the NCAA fencing championships, helped her team claim their 11th national champion title, and improved her career record to 120-50. Miriam is currently ranked in the Top 12 Women Epee Fencers in the country which allows her to compete on the international circuit. Miriam is working towards the Olympics and is taking a fifth year at Notre Dame to go for the gold! Everyone, let's congratulate Miriam (and follow her on social media!).
