women's soccer can be highly underrated, as you can find incredible competition in most places you go. Especially in certain conferences, you can find some of the best soccer players you will ever see. Here are four of the most competitive conferences in Division III women's soccer:

1. New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC)

The NESCAC has long been one of the country's best DIII women's . Their skill reaches far beyond New England when it comes to the national championship. Williams College has won three NCAA titles, and Amherst College, Tufts University, and Middlebury College have all made it to the championship game at least once.

Amherst, Tufts, Williams, Bowdoin College, and Wesleyan University received bids in this year's national championship. Tufts made it all the way to the national semifinals.

2. University Athletic Association (UAA)

The UAA is by far one of the most dominant conferences in the country. The University of Rochester won the first two national championships in 1986 and 1987. Since then, Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) has claimed a title and Case Western Reserve University, the University of Chicago, and Emory University have reached the national championship game.

This year, Emory, Case Western, WashU, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, and Chicago earned their way into the national tournament. Rochester reached the semifinals and WashU went all the way to the national championship.

3. Centennial Conference

The Centennial Conference is another powerhouse in Division III women's soccer. They haven't won many titles, although, Johns Hopkins University recently claimed the 2022 national title. They also always have many teams make appearances in the national tournament.

This year, Johns Hopkins, Swarthmore College, McDaniel College, and Franklin and Marshall College received bids into the tournament.

4. Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC)

The SCIAC has had recent success in Division III soccer. Earlier this month, California Lutheran University claimed the conference's first national championship. Pomona-Pitzer also earned a bid to this year's tournament.

The seems to be on the up and up for women's soccer, so I would watch out for them in the coming years.
