I played for Yon for 4 years.. he has decent knowledge of the game, but cares more about himself than the team. I do not believe he is a good person, which translates to a bad coach. He would consistently put teammates against each other to "drive competition" but it would in turn just create a poor team culture. He's extremely conceited, because he coaches at a prestigious school, but it is not worth it. I became a worse player during my tenure under him. He has his ways of wanting things done, and if you don't do them to a tee, he will punish you for them. Even if you have a slightly different style of play that is still effective. My favorite memory was when he set up a practice that was purely centered around headers and just had us practice heading in crosses. 2 players got concussions that practice from the constant heading of a driven ball, and one had long-term effects from that concussion. Just plain dumb.
