Steve is an outdated coach who does not know how to be honest with people or treat people with respect. He has not kept his knowledge of the sport up with modern times and does not understand how to make swimmers faster. Most swimmers do not improve on his team. Steve is also a liar to boot, he makes promises he can't keep and does not communicate.

Steve is an outdated coach who does not know how to be honest with people or treat people with respect. Coach Potsklan is a nice guy. However, his coaching abilities need dramatic improvement. His greatest coaching flaw is his inability to adapt to the ever-evolving sport. The improvement in the team this year is due to an attitude change from within the team, and had very little to do with Coach Potsklan. I do not recommend swimming his program.

If you're looking for a coach who won't talk to you, Steve's the right couch for you. You'd be lucky if he mumbles a couple words to you after your races.
