Steve has been a swim coach for around 20 years. This may be his biggest problem. He continues to use the same methods of coaching which in our sport, is detrimental. Our sport has evolved so much, yet Steve is too proud to change his techniques. This mindset has led to a lack of improvement among our swimmers and has really impacted the program in a negative way.
