Although sara has retired from coaching, she was an amazing coach and developed athletes beyond the track in academics, careers and interpersonal skills. Sara personalized training to the individual and cared deeply about each person. She always had a lot on her plate but if you do your part she will go above and beyond for you. Although I was never injured long term, Sara didn’t lose track of the athletes in recovery and made sure they stayed on track to get better me tally and physically. Sara was accommodating with academics and scheduling issues as well. Sara was not available 100% of the time but when she was at practice she was 100% present. If Sara was still coaching today I would recommend to anyone who is self-sufficient but still wants a knowledgable and supportive coach.
