I often have mixed feelings about Ray, but I do have to say she knows the game. She has a lot of experience playing and coaching successful teams. Her coaching technique is often intense and cut throat, but she gets the job done. If you need someone to baby you, you would not enjoy being coached by Ray. However, if you operate well with tough love, Ray is your girl. Overall, I respect her as a coach and I don’t often question her in regard to Field Hockey. On the other hand, she sometimes only sees us as players and not humans. She doesn’t take peoples emotional and mental needs into consideration and doesn’t care how we feel, she just wants us to preform well.
