I really enjoyed having Matt as my coach. He always was finding ways to improve my performance. He was always accessible when I needed help or to discuss something. He made my college career end on a very high note and I will always be appreciable for that.

Matt rarely ever seemed to show that he actually cared about his team - he seemed to only care about winning. What he lacked in empathy, compassion, and respect, he replaced with unnecessary intensity and constant yelling. He made my college soccer experience one to remember, and not for good reason.

Always contradicted himself and believed he was always right. Did not work with players abilities rather tried to fit players into concrete/certain system.

Matt does seem to care about his players but he is a terrible communicator and is a control freak. He talks WAY too much in practice to the point we barely play because all he does is go on and on about something that could be said in a quick sentence. He also is so scattered about topics he wants to focus on when coaching. He needs to relax.
