Lacey is truly like a mother to her players. Of course winning and being on a great team are important to most athletes, we all care about that. But when it comes to D3 sports it's important to have a coach who really cares about you because we have to focus on our majors and careers. She really helps facilitate that and encourages us off the field to explore internships, studying abroad, and other things that make us happy. I really love Lacey.

I feel that she acts more like a team mom than a coach. She is super nice, but she is quiet and not straightforward with her intentions with her players.

Lacey is a very caring coach who clearly loves her job! Very connected to the Skidmore community and meets regularly with her athletes. Sometimes she is not as honest about playing time as she should be but overall great expierence!

Just Poor in every way. So unorganised and to think this is her full-time job, she doesn't have much to show for it or for her entire career at Skidmore. Creates a toxic team culture. Very bad at communicating.

Lacey is an extremely approachable coach to go to for any concerns or questions. She builds a fun but competitive atmosphere during practices. One thing I really do respect is how much she cares about academics for her team.

Lacey creates a great team culture and is very knowledgeable. Practices are always intense and competitive. She wants to win and I love that. However, Lacey has an issue with being honest with her players. She tends to beat around the bush or takes the easy way out with players which is one thing that hurts our teams

I have been with Coach Lacey for almost a year now and I can easily say she is a coach that cares and always has her players best interest at heart. She cares about the team so much and creates the best environment.

Lacey is a very kind coach. She values relationships and wants the team to succeed. She takes time to get to know players and cultivate open communication. You might have to approach her to get feedback, but once you start the initial conversation she will be open and try to support you the best she can.

Overall I have enjoyed my experience with Lacey however she tends to exhibit extreme favoritism and is unwilling to try new things in order to succeed as a team.

Lacey genuinely cares about each player that goes through her roster. She does an amazing job keeping in touch with alumni, and making sure academics and getting a job are important to everyone on the team.

I liked touring the school and seeing the how the coach was with the players. I personally didn’t think I would fit in the system here but I think other people would fit right in! This is a great school but it just wasn’t right for me.

Loves to not talk a ton to players, and when they do, it’s focused on the starting 11 and never the substitutes. Only once did I hear Coach say something to me from the side line, and I had to engage the talk first.

Lacey is so caring about the team and wants everyone to be successful on and off the field. She is a great resource even after you graduate. One thing I think she can work on is her communication skills with the team. It's ok to get mad express that to the team, sometimes we need(ed) to hear it. But you will have a great time on the team if you go to Skidmore and play for Lacey

She can do a little bit better with being assertive and letting us know what we're doing wrong in order to improve. She does that in a sit down setting, but I wouldn't mind it being more vocal in practice. She is amazingly caring and a beautiful human inside and out!

Lacks a style of play and no clear team standards. I would consider communication a weakness because tendency to sugar coat rather than provide the straight forward truth. Organized practices on paper but not always effective when played out. No standards for team fitness and does not push players or team to full potential. Recruiting is not strong.
