He really knows the game and is passionate about it but doesn't care for anyone besides like 3 starters and heavily favorites them. Example: a starter didn't pass a fitness test but still started and played every game after he said there would be "no exceptions." He is also very hard to talk to and likes to compare you to others. A nice and funny person outside of soccer, but not when it really matters.
