John Russo is the worst coach I have played for in my career. Not only is he not honest but he is extremely two faced. He knows next to nothing on the game of baseball, and ruins the game for his players. He is unfit to run a division 1 program let alone coach kids. Along with that he basically responds to a parent who donates.

John Russo is the worst coach I have played for in my career. Not only is he not honest but he is extremely two faced. John Russo is the worst coach in the CAA and may be the worst coach in the northeast. He relies on a booster parent who runs the team in a GM role proving players, coaches, facilities and who knows what else. It reminded me of daddy ball when I was in middle school. All to help one player reach his and the dad's goals. If you're not from LI do not go here. You will hate baseball soon after Russo and his cronies start coaching you. Stay away, his record speaks for itself.
