She motivated me all right. To want nothing to do with the school or any sort of athletics.

She does not put players first, frequently asked them to play on injuries that ended up resulting in surgeries. She held the team out of competitions because she did not want to go, including nationals. She frequentlyp told the players too much about her personal life and traumas, then told them they did not deserve to play for disrespecting her and the sport. She constantly compared us to West Point, and would leave give our team off to go spend time with the West Point team instead of us. She felt that school was “getting in the way of rugby” for her team. She thought that every game we lost was because we were not fit enough, and not the fact that we were simply worse players than the other teams. She was incapable of effectively communicating what she wanted or expected and would then blow up on the team for not reading her mind. Her coaching was the worst athletic coaching experience I have ever had. She was so disrespectful and disorganized, she was absolutely awful to players and played favorites heavily, I would never recommend her to ever be in any coaching position with any sort of power. The only way the team was tight knit is from bonding through the experiences she put us through, like not getting on flights out of state with us or telling us to figure out our own ways back to campus after landing from an out of state flight at midnight.
