If he likes you, you can get away with anything at any point. His style of coaching is throw something against the wall and hope it sticks. The women’s team openly disliked each other and he did nothing to help by naming one of the biggest problems on the team captain. Openly ridiculed swimmers in front of the whole team. Lord and would say it was because “he expects more” but would do nothing to help you reach it.
