is a redshirt senior on the women's basketball team at Gannon University. The 5 foot 10 forward leads her team in total minutes (1225), total points (726), points per game (19.6), rebounds (299), and steals (61) this

Pirosko and the Golden Knights are the number one seed going into the Elite Eight in the Women's Basketball Tournament. The team has beaten every team they have played in the tournament by at least 19 points. In their second game of the tournament, Pirosko scored 34 points, which was her third-highest of the season.

This season, Pirosko was named the D2CAA Atlantic Player of the Year, First Team All-Atlantic Region, PSAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Year, and the WBCA Division II Player of the Year. 

Samantha Pirosko has been able to stretch her eligibility for six seasons. She redshirted her freshman year after suffering an injury and was able to utilize her COVID year, which was granted to all NCAA athletes who played during the 2020-2021 season

Pirosko will hope to leave her final season with an NCAA championship added to her resume. The Golden Knights will play the number eight-ranked California State University San Marcos on Monday, March 25 at 7 PM ET. Tune in and watch out for Pirosko!
