Jordan Chiles is a junior gymnast at the University of California – Los Angeles. Chiles won a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics and three medals at the World Championships in 2022 (gold for the team and silver for vault and floor).
Her stats speak for themselves. In her sophomore season, she won the NCAA title in uneven bars in 2023 with a perfect score of 10.00, her third of the season. She also helped UCLA set a playoff program record of 49.7125 on the floor with a nearly flawless 9.9875 (2023 individual NCAA title). With an all-around score of 39.7125, she was only .05 points away from taking first place in the NCAA. Her vault score of 9.9000 placed her fifth overall. She was named the 2023 College Gym News Sportswoman of the Year, WCGA West Region Gymnast of the Year, first-team All-American, and first-team All-Pac-12 in all-around, vault, floor, and uneven bars.
As a freshman, Jordan Chiles earned second-team All-American honors and was named first-team All-Pac-12 on bars and floor.
Jordan Chiles sure has set the bar high for this upcoming season, but she is definitely one to watch! UCLA will be chasing its eighth NCAA Championship and first since 2018 with Chiles as one of their frontrunners.
