What a season it's been for college football–from nearly insurmountable comebacks to a missed field goal that gifted Georgia a championship berth, it's been a year for the books. Fortunately, we will get to watch one more game this season, when Georgia and TCU face off with championship bragging rights at stake. Without further adieu, here's my preview of the College Football Playoff National Championship.
CFP National Championship

TCU Vs. Georgia
SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California
For the second straight season, Georgia will appear in the CFP National Championship, but a back-to-back title is no guarantee. On the opposite side of the field stands TCU, who last won the championship back in 1938, long before the current system had even been established. This showdown should be a great game as both teams match up well. Georgia will look to get back to their defensive dominance after yielding over 40 points to Ohio State in the semifinals after Georgia's defense gave up a mere 12.8 points per game on average to its opponents this season. However, for a second straight week, it won't be an easy task, as this TCU offense averaged 41.1 points per game this season, tied for 4th with powerhouse Alabama. As we've seen, both teams possess a clutch gene and can score with ease. While sportsbooks currently have TCU as close to two touchdown underdogs, I imagine it'll come down to a few plays in the final minutes. After all, TCU has shown to be resilient all season, and I don't see that changing against undefeated Georgia next Monday.
