With the official end of football season not that long ago, the Spring training season among us, and football NLI signing periods open, we wanted to reminisce on the most exciting football tailgate parties of 2021. These 5 college football tailgates have me excited for the 2022 season to come.
Penn State v Auburn
Penn State is known for having electric pregame tailgates every season. This year's game vs a big SEC school got all the fans fired up. This game on September 18th was Penn State's white out game, which makes for one of the craziest atmospheres in college football. With tents covering the entire parking lot surrounding the stadium, students, fans, alumni, and even celebrities, such as Saquon Barkely, were all partying it up at this tailgate. Before the teams started battling it out on the field, the fans were making friends at the tailgate: “I couldn't believe how friendly all ya'll were,” an Auburn fan said to Penn fans.
Texas A&M v Alabama
With such a deep history between the two teams, Texas A&M fans were fired up for this game. It is known that the Aggies have one of the loudest stadiums in college football, but fans were making noise and partying long before the game started. With a huge open area near the stadium for anyone to enter, along with bars in College Station, and over 100,000 people in attendance, this was one of Texas' biggest football tailgates of the year.

FLGA – Florida v Georgia
Year after year, this is one of the most anticipated tailgates in college football. This year, it was called the biggest cocktail party in America. With lots rented out to families, greek life, student organizations, and alumni, this tailgate was a hit. You did not have to be a fan or even a follower of college football to have fun at this tailgate.
Ole Miss v LSU
Ole Miss is one of the greatest college tailgating atmospheres there is. Now you throw a big time school like LSU into Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, and it is an experience of a lifetime. Tailgates in The Grove and The Circle go all day long when you're with Rebel nation.

Notre Dame v Wisconsin (Soldier Field, Chicago)
With a mutual location to this game, crowds from both fan bases were in attendance. Both fan bases are extremely passionate about their teams, making the atmosphere intense and outgoing. Although Notre Dame destroyed the Badgers in this game, the tailgate area right next to the stadium was packed for hours on end before and during the game.
