Let's hope that you are not choosing what school to attend based on their brand partnerships and what gear you will get. But let's be real–these partnerships can provide additional incentive in choosing one school over another. Here are three schools with brand partnerships that stand out.
1. The University of Oregon
It only makes sense that the University of Oregon is at the top of the list–Phil Knight, founder and CEO of Nike, is an alumni of the U of O. Oregon's relationship with the Nike brand means they receive special treatment in terms of the gear and support the university receives. On top of all of the gear that is provided to the school, Knight has also launched a program to help college athletes attending Oregon create and monetize their personal brands.

2. The University of Michigan
The University of Michigan's 11-year $173 million dollar deal with Nike makes it one of the biggest brand partnerships in collegiate athletics. This has allowed them to receive some of the best gear in all of sports for not only their fans but their players as well. One of the best parts of their deals is that the University's football and basketball teams get to wear the iconic Jumpman apparel, making their football team be the first Jumpman-sponsored football team in college sports.

3. Boston College
You may have just read Boston College and thought to yourself the guy writing this article is crazy. But hang on–the reason that they made this list is because they are the only Division I school with a New Balance partnership. This unique pairing grants them first-class treatment from the New Balance brand and apparel and jerseys unlike any other school. Another thing that makes this partnership perfect is that New Balance was founded and is headquartered in the Boston area. This will grant Boston College athletes access to New Balance training facilities such as the TRACK@NewBalance on top of getting their hands on some great gear.
