There is so much information when it comes to the recruiting process. Just this morning, we published an extensive breakdown of college basketball teams in the ACC and if you should want to play for them. So, we're here with a much more chill recruiting tip of the day:
Step outside your comfort zone.
This tip may be one of the most challenging to follow because falling back into your comfort zone is so easy. But, if you challenge yourself to try something new, maybe a new move, technique, or lift, you will only improve as an athlete. Every skill you master is room to learn a new one.

Stepping out of your comfort zone may instead mean reaching out to a coach. Maybe you hate cold calls and you're scared to reach out to even the first coach. Or maybe you've reached out to plenty of coaches, but you only talk to the ones who you know you can compete for, rather than challenging yourself to reach out to a coach you think you're not good enough to play for.

Whatever it is you're struggling with, step outside your comfort zone. It will help with your recruiting process and it will continue to help you improve as a college athlete.
