Usually, Motivation Monday is all about rising up to be the best you can be. But even hard-working athletes need breaks to rest, recover, and give thanks. That's why a team should be on every athlete's to-do list this time of the year.

A couple years ago my tennis team started having team friendsgiving with the women's team and the men's team. I love that we started this tradition because it brought both teams together. We all made something to bring to dinner and enjoyed sitting down and bonding with each other. There were games and lots of that everyone loved. It was so much fun and made me think how thankful I am to have people in my life who want to enjoy their time with me too. If you ever want to get your team together, having a team friendsgiving is always a fun idea to do.
