Give 100% of What You Have Today

Give 100% of What You Have Today Give 100% of What You Have Today

My coach used to tell me that you can’t measure effort. Your best today will never be your best tomorrow or the next day. We are human, we have bad days, we have spectacular days, we get tired, unexpected things happen. When we showed up to practice, she would ask that we give 100% of whatever we had that day. If we only had 60% to give that day, fine, give 100% of that 60%.

The same applies during your recruiting process: give 100% of what you have every day: give 100% to reaching out to coaches, becoming a better athlete or teammate, signing up for visits/camps/showcases.

It is ridiculous to expect student athletes to be perfect every single day, but if you’re giving your best, that’s as close to perfect as you’ll get.
