What are the do's and don'ts of being recruited?
Do: Be respectful to your parents, learn how to give a proper handshake and introduction of yourself.
Don't: Talk badly about your coaches, parents, or teammates.
What is the best advice you can offer a recruit?
Be honest as early as you can be in the recruiting process. If you are not interested, say that. Recruiting is all about how to spend your time more efficiently, so we want to know as early as possible who we have a chance at.

What are the main do's and don'ts for a recruit's highlight tape?
I don't need music or a personal intro and put your best content at the beginning. Show your versatility (i.e. a running back being able to run for touchdowns, pass protect, catch the ball, etc.) and don't just show you running the football.
When do you recommend recruits put together and share their highlight reels? Is it best to make their highlight reel during the offseason, in the middle of season, or after each game?
After junior year in the off-season.
What advice do you have for recruits who get turned down by their dream schools? What are their options if they don't gain the recruiting attention they desire?
Be honest with yourself and realize that the numbers are against you being a scholarship athlete. There is a place for everyone so go somewhere you can play and enjoy rather than let your ego get in the way of going somewhere else and never seeing the field.
