As we move through the spring sports season, there is so much excitement surrounding the NCAA and college athletics. Although March Madness has come to an end, a new championship just around the corner is set to shed light on another group of incredible female athletes; the 2023 Women's National Championships. As we enter an exciting round of competition with the Top 8 Universities – Cal Berkeley, LSU, Michigan, Utah, Denver, Florida, Oklahoma, and Kentucky – along with more than two dozen individuals, these gymnasts are stepping into this week ready to compete for the title of champion.

Let's take a look at 5 trailblazers who are bound to come out of the NCAA Championships with notable recognitions:

With career bests of 10.0 on vault, 9.975 on bars, 9.9625 on beam, 9.975 on floor, and 39.750 all-around, she has proven herself to be a competitor. This season, Brooks was named the 2023 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year for the second time in her collegiate career and became the 13th Wolverine in program history to earn First-Team All-Conference honors on four different occasions. As this all-around senior enters the semi-finals, with a recent perfect score and first-place title on floor, she is anticipated to win the floor event at the NCAA Championship.
