Coach Filter is a fantastic baseball mind and a great leader for the program as a whole. He leads by example with his commitment to team values and passion for the game. One of his greatest strengths is his honesty, someone that will truly call it as it is, but offers solutions or input on how to improve when this honesty comes in the form of criticism. His pedigree as a pitching coach speaks for itself and he puts a high emphasis on players leaving his program prepared for whatever professionals endeavors they choose whether or not that is professional baseball.

This guy is a great recruiter, no doubt. Terrible coach though. Bad communicator, disorganized, dishonest, turns on his players with the most minor inconveniences, and clearly picks favorites. He also set up cameras in the showers and when I asked him about them he cut me immediately
