Mike Jackson knows a lot about the sprints, hurdles and jumping events in track and field. When he is lacking knowledge in distance and throws events, he recruits good coaches to come in and take over that spot. Because of where his knowledge is heavier, he tends to favor those athletes in those events a little more. Other than that, he does try to go out of his way to help people in outside life events when possible... so long as that person is contributing to the program overall in some way.
