ATU Volleyball continues to decline under the direction of Kera Dukic Coleman. No graduate assistance and NOW we have NO Assistant Coach. The assistant coach left to be an Assistant Coach for another NCAA Division 2 program. She needed to get away from the crazy culture at ATU Volleyball that Kera has developed. Not sure who will become the next Assistant Coach for ATU Volleyball if Kera is in charge of hiring that person. PLEASE ATU Athletics, take the initiative to be involved in the hiring process and bring a professional into the program. Please don't let Kera hire someone that she can manipulate and bully into going along with her "culture" which is toxic. Please use this opportunity to give the ATU Volleyball program a chance to improve with someone who is qualified and professional. Thank you

11 wins in 2 years is embarrassing. ATU it's time for a coaching change. We deserve better.

I am thankful for Coach Kera. We didn't have the best year, but she always believed in us. We know we are in charge on the court, not Coach Kera. Our experiences this year will help us all grow into stronger players for next year. I am looking forward to our 24 season! Thank you, Coach Kera, for always being supportive and believing in us.

I have reached out to GAC MULTIPLE times regarding this woman. They have yet to do anything. GAC I know you see these reviews. They have been sent to you multiple times regarding this coach. You read them but just sit there in silence. This is an AWFUL look for the conference as a whole. Have you found it weird that when you do any type of media interview with this coach she always uses words like “toxicity” “buy in to our program”….? And when you talk to others they actually give real volleyball substance. Yes it’s awesome to have good culture and what not but, I think it’s a HUGE red flag that is about all this coach harps on. because ultimately that is what she focuses on because she loves the drama and outside factors more than volleyball. When did coaches talk more about bullshit rather than WINNING? She can’t coach, i’m sorry. she has super low volleyball 1Q. the most vocab you get out of this woman is maybe “physical at the net”. I mean cmon. it’s time to start picking up on these huge red flags.

If the GAC wants to be taken anymore serious. Some big changes are going to have to be made at this school. First starting with the coaches. For the GAC to get no at large bids or ever be ranked regionally says a lot about the conference & school as a whole. Ya recruits tucker coliseum is nice and ya the school can give off d1 impressions. Future prospects, do you want to win your conference and have a fighting chance of going deep in the ncaa tourney? Or, do you just want to win the GAC and then draw someone from the MIAA and get pounded the first round of the tourney? your choice. Ya the gym and certain parts of the facilities are nice but the athletics at this school are a JOKE. This goes for mostly all of the sports at that school. I’m just posting this on volleyball because this coach is a prime example. she can’t coach a national level team. i’m sorry. she can’t even get a GAC trophy hardly. let alone going to the tournament. I mean how pathetic to be in one if not THE WORST conference in d2 and still not be able to be at the top. it’s infuriating for donors to continue to pour money into this school and we continue to higher and keep piss poor coaches like this one. any other university would have looked into her shenanigans and let her go after her horrible season. this coach managed to have one of the worst volleyball programs in all of ncaa d2…. any players actually looking to get better and want a smell of competing in the NCAA tourney. please don’t come here. what’s sad is seasons like this will repeat and repeat. and players that are actually decent and want to be apart of something bigger will leave and it will be a team filled with girls who are just content with “maybe” winning the GAC conference. the school and athletic program as a whole will not be taken seriously until they quit hiring based off of who you know, alumni, and politics. and start finding people who maybe want to put GAC on the map. because at some point money will run out, donors will fall off and the GAC will be non existent. time to start making some hard decisions folks…..

I played one season for this ATU Volleyball program under the direction of Kera Dukic Coleman and it was a horrible experience. I transferred after one season and in my profile page of my new school, I list my previous college as unknown because I don't want anybody to know that I played for this ATU Volleyball program. It's embarrassing. I applaud the players that tell their story of abuse in hopes to prevent other players from becoming another victim of Coach Kera. I witnessed her abuse of a player that included her telling the player that she was a LOOSER because of her social media posts. She harassed that player all season long. It was a huge distraction and an obsession of Coach Kera. Coach Kera cut that player from the program after that season and it was the Biggest Favor she could have every done for that player. My former teammate found a new school with another D2 volleyball program and they just won their conference. I can tell from her social media posts that she is loved and cared for at her new school. She is surrounded by people who believe in her and encourage her. She is not just surviving, She is THRIVING. No doubt that coaches need to push us to be better and do better but Coach Kera lacks that capability. She thinks tearing a player down, gossiping about them and making fun of them is pushing them to do better or to change. This is NOT right.

Kera, the best thing you did was tell me face-to-face that you gave up on me as a player because I am thriving here. No "petty drama," just hard work in the gym. Mentally and physically pushed, yet not torn down - that's the difference between my new environment and ATU's program. A year ago today, I gave up on myself, even contemplated not wanting to be alive. Grateful to be here, loving the sport again. Decided to finally respond because it's ignorant and disrespectful to tear down EVERYONE. Thank you Kera for giving up on me, telling me i'm not good enough to play for some shitty team that is in one of the worst conferences in D2 volleyball, talking to other players in meetings and appointments about me saying i'm not good enough to be on the court. Look at me and so many others with a similar story.

Coach Kera is BY FAR the best Coach I have ever played under. I played volleyball for 12+ years and have been coached and mentored by numerous people. No one even compares to Coach Kera, period. Anyone that knows her, loves her. She is the most selfless person and Coach I have ever met. She cares about her players outside of the game. She strives for players to be their best self on and off the court.

Kera Dukic Coleman is not a great role model for young women of today. Young ladies need to be supportive of each other and not manipulated by an adult like Kera who on the surface appears to be a supporter of young women but behind closed doors or behind your back, she tears girls down with her mind games and endless drama. The world is challenging enough and women need to support each other but under the direction of Kera Dukic Coleman, your daughter will be cultivated into a mean spirited and spiteful person. We have end of season meetings and all Kera does is talk trash about other players with other players. It's so unprofessional and just an absolute horrible experience. I am very uncomfortable when Kera talks badly about one of my teammates. I don't know how to respond. I want to say how uncomfortable I am when she talks about other players and ask her to stop. I wich the AD would be required to sit in on these end of season meetings. Maybe if someone was overseeing these meetings, they would be more professional and not veer off into gossip and drama.

The truth is Kera has a mean girl mentality, as a woman who is almost 40 (tbh I have no idea how old she is exactly but I know she’s too old to act the way she does) she thrives on drama and pitting girls against each other. For the girls she puts on pedestals their experience is amazing but for the girls that she didn’t like their experience sucked to the highest degree. She is incapable of taking accountability for her actions. Losses are always due to the girls on the bench, the review site, or that the sky is blue. She literally cannot accept that the girls that she chooses to play together DO NOT MESH and that’s why there is loss after loss, she also is incapable of coming to the realization that she created a terrible line up and that she needed to change it. 1) doing the same thing over and over is the definition of insanity. Keeping the same line up loss after loss is insane. (Your record reflects that one) 2) keeping girls on the bench game after game to watch their teammates lose for everyone when they could possibly contribute positively is just straight up torture. It is so hard to sit back and watch people lose, knowing that you can help but you have an insane woman in charge of the team that only plays the girls that she likes. 3) Essentially telling the girls on your team that they suck and giving up on them is despicable behavior. Grow up Kera, these girls don’t suck, they just have a horrible coach. They aren’t provided with tools to develop their skills, nothing you offer makes anyone better at volleyball or makes them a better person. You just leave destruction in your path, you destroyed ATUs volleyball program, record, and reputation. 4) Kera is one of the biggest narcissists I’ve ever met, she physically is incapable of admitting she is the reason everything has gone to crap regarding ATU volleyball. She has a compulsive desire to paint herself as a saint on the outside, she is especially good at manipulating new people into believing that she’s a good person but everyone eventually sees through it. I see through your bs Kera, you are a mean and conniving person and should not have a job where you have influence over young women. Enough is enough, your DUI should’ve been enough to cost you your job but you should definitely be fired now. If she is still employed as the Head Coach at ATU then there needs to be an ethical investigation done. There is enough evidence that you suck at your job and need to be removed.

ATU Volleyball is awful. It's one thing to have a loosing record but still grow and learn and develop or have fun with your teammates. HOWEVER, we had NONE of those things this season. The team culture is toxic because that's the culture that Kera developed. She sometimes pretends to revamp the culture and make it more positive but she fails at that because deep down to her core, Kera thrives on adversity. She is not happy unless there is some kind of drama so that she can point to that drama and make that her excuse as to why she is failing at her JOB.

I have been silent all season because I wanted the ATU volleyball season to play out itself. Here we are at the end of the season and all I can do is laugh, how embarrassing was the 3-25 finish team? I am absolutely dumbfounded by the lack actions taken by ATU athletics. Look at the facts starting with 2021 season, so it was a successful 22-8 while winning a ring, yet 6 girls transferred out. The 2022 season looked a little different as the team went 22-8, barley making it to the conference tournament, with 7 girls transferring/ deciding not to play anymore. Now look at the 2023 season with a record of 3-25, and we obviously do not know who is transferring out yet. It is absolutely ridiculous that it has even come to this point even after girls have searched for help through this review page. ATU HELP THESE GIRLS AND GET RID OF KARA COLEMAN.

As a parent of a former player, my daughter THRIVED for four years under Coach Kera. Coach Kera is not only an exceptional coach, but an even better human who still goes beyond to continue that support even after graduation. If I had the choice to do to send my daughter to Arkansas Tech, under Coach Kera, I would do it all over again. We love Coach Kera!!!

Easily one of the most caring, hard working, driven, and selfless coaches I have ever had.

LOL I would hope she is coaching… I mean they do have a game scheduled and that is here job. Lets also be reminded this is the last game of the season because they didn’t make it into the tournament.

Kera may be a decent human being but she lacks knowledge with coaching. this has been a struggle ever since her assistant left the program. She would make a wonderful assistant coach. But I believe she is not fit for the role she is in now sadly.

This coach has caused me immense amounts of stress and anxiety that I will have to carry into my adulthood.

In college athletics you talk about owning up and taking responsibility. but we have a coach deflecting and using this as her reason as to why she didn’t have a good season this year. how many more season are going to go by of you (Kera) blaming past players for why you continue to have losing seasons.

Instead of focusing on getting better players on that team are constantly stalking and talking about past players. What is sad is this stems from the head coach directly.

Kera is a dedicated coach who goes above and beyond for her players. She challenges her players to be their best.

Kera has graduated players write letters of encouragement to the new players. They are read on a regular basis. The graduated players come back and play in the alumni games for years.

Kera is a phenomenal coach!!!!!! She is accessible to her players at all times. She keeps time on and off the court enjoyable. She genuinely cares about how her players are mentally, physically, and emotionally. She strives to help student athletes develop into responsible, hard working, and respectful women. I cant say enough about her as a person and a coach. 10/10!
