As a parent of a former player, my daughter THRIVED for four years under Coach Kera. Coach Kera is not only an exceptional coach, but an even better human who still goes beyond to continue that support even after graduation. If I had the choice to do to send my daughter to Arkansas Tech, under Coach Kera, I would do it all over again. We love Coach Kera!!!

Kera has graduated players write letters of encouragement to the new players. They are read on a regular basis. The graduated players come back and play in the alumni games for years.

My daughter played for this awful program and was abused by Kera in 2021. She is one of the players Kera surely still negatively talks about. But that girl is thriving!!! It gives me GREAT satisfaction to see her get roasted for the crap job she does. She was a terrible female role model and dangerously manipulative. The troubling issue is that the AD doesn't have a backbone to do anything about it!! ATU has been aware of the abuse by Kera, yet the turn the other way because she is cheap! You know dollar-store kind of coach. GAC 2021 Championship was due to the recruting efforts of Coach Nook and a few good players who came from great programs! I wonder if ATU sees it now? Probably not....maybe the whole institution is dollar store quality. Advice to future recruites.... take all the scholarship money you can! They do full rides all the time!! You just have to push back, look at her options. ATU has the funds to pay for your education, housing and meals but dont expect to have a positive or WINNING (LOL) experience. HA!

I am not sure why nobody is checking into the volleyball situation at ATU. The Spring 2023 Roster has people dropping off it like crazy. Why? Coach Kera would like to tell you it's because of injuries, etc. BUT the truth is way different. One player is an education major and Coach Kera won't work with her class schedule so she can play. Can you imagine? Teachers are in short supply accross the US and Coach Kera will not accomodate her schedule and it's not like she is student teaching. She has regular class schedule and Coach Kera will not work with the times. WHY does the administration allow this? The student facility advisors are so frustrated with Coach Kera because she is so difficult to work with and is not cooperative at all. Coach Kera is not a morning person so she wants practices in the afternoon. Which is fine if that would be 5PM or 6PM but NO.... that's Happy Hour for ole' Coach. So practices are like 3PM in the afternoon which is so messed up when trying to schedule classes. I don't understand WHY she is still allowed to continue with her drama and nonsense.

Caoch Kera body shames her girls at ATU volleyball. Coach Kera scrutinizes her player's social media accounts and will ask you to take down posts that she believes are unacceptable. Not a big deal except she has engaged in situations where 2 different girls could have bathing suit pics of themselves from vacation or whatever posted on their social media. Coach Kera will ask one to take it down because she is curvery (which that girl will translates to I am fat) and the other girl will be allowed to leave her bathing suit picture up because she has little to no curves (which that girls translates to I have no figure, undeveloped or flat chested). Shouldn't it be that no volleyball player at ATU should be allowed to post bathing suit pictures on their social media? Keep the rule the same for all players? I don't understand why ATU allows her to speak to young women in this manner. Her words hurt. Multiple girls are referring to eating disorders and mental health issues. Who is looking out for the well being of these young women?

My daughter had a terrible experience with this coach. Coach Kera repeatedly mis-represented information to us about on campus vs off campus housing. I am not sure if she didn't know what she was talking about of if she is just a pathological liar. She has an absolute terrible reputation with the ATU housing department and therefore, the ATU housing or RES Life is not very helpful with ATU Volleyball players. Coach Kera has burned so many bridges within the ATU community and unfortunately, that trickles down onto the volleyball players. They pay a price for her poor reputation on ATU campus. There is absolutely no support for the ATU Volleyball players compared to other sports teams at ATU.

I am not sure about these reviews (good or bad). It does look completely CRAZY. I will tell you that I am 100% certain that something is WRONG with this ATU Volleyball program and maybe even with ATU's athletic administration. I would NEVER put my daughter in this type of environment. I know that young people need learn to deal with drama but this is way over the top. No THANK YOU Arkansas Tech University - I will pass on requiring my daughter to navigate the Kera Dukic drama at 18 years old.

My daughter (out of state player) and antoher girl (Arkansas player from Bentonville, AR) were both academically ineligible during the Spring of 2022. Coach Kera filled out paperwork to help the Arkansas player waive their ineligibility but did not fill out that paperwork for my daughter. Coach Kera does show favoritism to Arkansas players over the out of state players. She is unprofessional and dishonest with how she manages and treats the players. Constantly second guessing everything that she says because she lies so much. It's hard to figure out what is truth and what is fiction. I am disappointed in this program and with Coach Kera.

Bad example for young athletes - DUI while on the job at ATU and she can't drive the ATU team vehicles. They have to get other ATU staff members to drive for her because of her DUI. Really? This is the fine, upstanding example that you want the athletes to see as a good example to follow? I don't think so.

Be the Change is Kera’s favorite motto… Well ATU - why don’t you change volleyball coaches for 2023. Get a new coach and some new leadership. This is a train wreck.
