Katie Rowan Thomson is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is obviously one of the best players that the game has ever seen but you would only know that based on her knowledge of the game. She is very humble and has the best lacrosse IQ I have ever seen. It is such an honor to have her at UAlbany. The teams culture has only improved and continues improving.

She’s a great person, loves the game, and is very knowledgeable in the sport. The team atmosphere is great and a lot of fun. If you want a coach that pushes you, you won’t find that here. It’s very positive coaching style and not a lot of constructive criticism is given to help you get better unless you are one of the star players. The team is really fun and a good group of girls but I don’t think the coach challenges us to be better.
