Coach D was an awesome guy to play for and would recommend him to any recruit that wants to play for a hard nosed coach who gives his team the will to win. I would love to have the opportunity to play for a coach D again.

Coach D knows how the game should be played and how professional scouts want to see players develop. In terms of baseball development and development into an adult, I would entirely endorse Coach D's methods. I would send my son to Quinnipiac just for him to play for Coach D.

John is an outstanding coach. He is accessible and extremely knowledge which leads him to run a great program. Overall, he is great at developing talent and developing young ball players into men.

Very passionate about the game and cares a lot about the program. He has played professionally, along with his coaching staff, therefore he knows how the game should be played. When players buy into the culture, it becomes the best four years of their lives, myself included. Very approachable as well. If you give him 100% he will make you better.

Coach D is a good coach. Sometimes let's the game speed up on him, but all in all wants to win more than anything. Pushes your mental and physical game hard and drives you to be the best you can be.

Coach D knows his stuff and runs a solid practice but if you really want to get the most out of him as a coach you need to do your part as a player that wants to get better. Get extra work, be attentative, talk to him in his office. It may seem like he is tough to talk to but if you go to him he will always be honest and never turn a player away.
